SPEAKER: If food comes first, when should we turn to supplements?

Ross has been Vice Chair of ESSNA since 2018, representing the interests of the sport nutrition sector across the European Union. He started his career as a graduate scientist. In collaboration with UK Sport, he specialised in sweat and saliva testing, allowing accurate electrolyte replacement and hormonal profiling of athletes ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games. Today he is a Business Development Manager at LGC, a global leader in life sciences, and supports the company’s Informed-Sport/Choice certification programmes. He has a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, a certification in sports nutrition from the International Society of Sports Nutrition and professional qualification from the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry.
